| Brava was bred by Dave and Gloria Smith of Lakesides Kennel in California.
She joined our family at 5 months of age. She quickly demonstrated her willingness to work by earning her BH at age 15
months, owner/handled by Joe Allegrini. At the New England Working Rottweiler club in the 12-18 class she received the rating of SG and placed 3rd owner handled. At the Farmington Valley Kennel club in 12-15 Sweeps under Judge Bob Busby, handled by our good friend Jan DeoJay, Brava placed 3rd. At the same show in the 12-18 Puppy Bitches under breeder Judge Joan Klem, owner handled, Brava placed 4th. In 1998 at the Housatonic Rottweiler Club Brava placed SG-2 in the 18-24 Youth Bitch class. In 1999 at the Ct. River Working Group, under Judge Dr. Louis Bond, handled by Linda Berberich, Brava placed 2nd in the AmBred class. In 1999 at the Nathan Hale Obedience Club, Brava earned a leg on her CD placing 2nd in Novice B. At the South Windsor Kennel club, Brava earned her CD title with another placement. Brava was trained and handled to her CD by our good friend, Jennifer Burkhardt of Needham, MA. In 2001 at the Hudson Valley Schutzhund Klub, Brava debuted in her first German style Open Female class. She received a beautiful critique from Judge Hetje Lashley, but was excused from the ring during the movement due to an injury.
After that Brava retired from both AKC and German style
showing
and was bred. She had one litter of 6 puppies, 5 females and 1male,
